Lynn Jeaurond

 

Registered Occupational Therapist

 

Lynn is a Registered Occupational Therapist with over 28-years of experience with a special interest in the therapy of the hand, wrist, and elbow. She graduated with a BSc. in Occupational Therapy at the University of Ottawa in 1992.

Lynn has had experience working in hand therapy in acute care settings as well as in the community, having worked locally at both St. Mary's Hospital and Grand River Hospital in the past. She utilizers a functional and holistic approach to treat clients with the use of exercises, splinting, modalities, and functional activities to maximize gains in activities of daily living. 

​

Her goal with each client is to educate them about their injury and healing process. This in turn empowers them to be an active player in their treatment. She is a firm believer that knowledge, as well as support from the rehabilitation team, allows clients to maximize their potential for recovery.

She is pleased to be part of the Handworx team where she is providing specialized hand therapy assessment and treatment to people with work-related conditions, as well as being part of the WSIB Specialty Program with the Ontario Workers Network.
